we're at a birthday for my grandmother who died ten years ago. i don't understand what we're celebrating but there are three pools outside and a sauna inside and cake and celebrities and everyone seems real happy and hot and full of life and in love with each other. i follow the random dog out the back door and we roll in the dirt like animals. Bellies up, tongues out, insatiable but tired.
